About the Event

Come to Live Oaks campground and join Isles for a weekend of learning, tournaments, revelry, arts and fun! Starting with a Meet and Beat, nay, a Stab and Gab on Friday night, invite your friends to best you as the crows cheer you on. In the morning Saturday, the masters teach you how to improve your skills in your chosen martial art. Or take the opportunity to try something new! Make sure you sharpen your arts and sciences skills during a myriad of classes we hope to offer throughout the day. Join us for an evening feast in the covered pavilion. As evening approaches, we will feast with cheers to your good health, be entertained by our kingdom's amazing bards who compete for our ears' delight, our bellies and hearts full to enjoy a night of revelry. On Sunday morning, sharpen your weapons as we each compete to be the (Your art form goes here) Champion of Isles!

Tentative martial art forms include:

Does the tournament field not call your name? In addition to the martial classes, an array of non-martial arts and sciences classes will be offered. Topics will include dance, fiber arts, scribal arts, jewelry making, tournament support, and more. Stay tuned for class descriptions and schedule.

The Shire of the Isles invites artisans and scientists to share their work and vie for the title of Arts & Sciences Champion of the Shire. Entrants are encouraged to bring something they have completed in the past year. Documentation is appreciated but not required. The winner will be determined by People's Choice.

Drop off your entry at the Arts & Sciences display on Saturday morning before 11am. Everyone is encouraged to vote for their favorite before 4pm. The winner will be announced during Court on Saturday evening.

Youth activities will be fun for all regardless of age or ability. Please join us on Saturday from 10 AM - 2 PM with a break for lunch at noon. We’ll have half hour classes of Heraldic Coloring, Viking Beads, Leather Stamping and more! Our illustrious Dorie will read aloud at Story Time.
Come play with the Red Tower. Look for updates when you check in at Gate.
